The Cottage

As you enter Lindwell Cottage you are greeted with a warm, comfortable, luxuriously presented part serviced holiday cottage, ideal for a short stay in Halifax. 

The cottage has been lovingly converted by the hosts who have retained the original beams, stone mullions and window seats.

The cottage is pet friendly and there are some good footpath and bridleway walks, right from the doorstep.

Living Room

The cottage has  a freestanding wood burning stove that gives a real sense of home and the lounge is the perfect place to unwind with a large smart TV with sound bar. Additional entertainment comes in the form of high speed Wi-Fi, a CD player, radio and iPod docking station.  

The Kitchen

The kitchen is finished to the highest standard; with Corian worktops with essential modern appliances like a dishwasher, washing machine and utility room with tumble room on the lower floor. The kitchen has a double over, ceramic hob and built in microwave.

The owners have tried to furnish their cottage with upon arrival the hosts do provide a small welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, jam and lemon curd, muffins and crisps.

A further hamper can be supplied for an additional cost; please contact your host who can order you this pack which will contain eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, cheese and fruit juice.

Master Bedroom

The main bedroom is tastefully decorated and features a memory foam double bed and with good quality cotton bedding and tasteful throws, for storage you can utilise a chest of drawers and large mirrored wardrobes.

In keeping with cottages age, the original cottage mullions and window seats have been retained. TV and alarm clock with wireless charging pad. Dressing gown and slippers are provided.

Second Bedroom

Beautiful furnishings continue into the second bedroom which has a memory foam single bed again with good quality bedding.

Bathroom

The bathroom features a large walk in shower, modern wash basin within a storage unit, mirrored cabinet and WC.

Trendy shower boards surround the walk in shower with the remainder of the bathroom consists of a tiled interior with chrome fixtures and fittings to complement the contemporary feel.

Outside

Lindwell Cottage is south facing and has a small garden to the front of the cottage with a bench area so you can catch any sun.  You are also just a stones throw from a traditional family run pub, where you’re always guaranteed a warm welcome.

There is parking for one car on the small drive to the front of the property.

Lindwell Cottage is perfect for those both with and without transport. A large variety of activities are situated nearby in West Vale, you are a ten minute walk from restaurants and bars  who all offer local good food and intimate dining. Alternatively, guests don’t have to venture far to visit Leeds, Manchester, Bradford and Wakefield via the easily accessible M62 motorway.
